Opening up the Range & Occasion Creation Interface
Login to your Administrator account, you should be viewing the dashboard by default once you've logged in successfully.
Look towards the left-hand sidebar and hover over Products and then choose the option Range or Occasion. Once loaded, you'll now be on the Range or Occasion Creation interface, respectively..
Choose a name for your Range. Ranges are used to separate each product into its own section making it much easier for customers to see which Ranges are available. The Range is more specific and describes the products, the Range could also be considered Collections. Examples of these could be, Nature, Coastal, Animals, Woodland, Flora - more specific to the products, and in some cases the brand.
Choose a name for your Occasion. Occasions are used to separate each product into its own section making it much easier for customers to see which Occasions are available. Some examples of Occasions could be; Anniversary, Wedding & Get Well.
Slug
The Slug is very simple, take the previously used Range or Occasion Name that you've chosen for the Name input field and copy it into the Slug field. Then readjust the Name so that it's not capitalised, and contains only letters, numbers, and use hyphens when choosing to have two words for your Range or Occasions name.
Parent Range & Occasion
The Parent Range or Occasion dropdown allows you to specify which parent assignment this current Range or Occasion applies to. If the current Range or Occasion in question is a Parent Range or Occasion, then choose None.
Description
The Range & Occasion Description allows in some cases to show the text on the front end, in most cases we find alternative ways to include useful text to the Shop which better suits our methods of building. Though if you find it useful you can use it to add in some basic text that does describe that Range or Occasion as seen here.
