Your Decision

Opening up the All Users Interface

Login to your Administrator account, you should be viewing the dashboard by default once you've logged in successfully.

Look towards the left-hand sidebar and hover over Users and then choose the option All Users. Once loaded, you'll now be on the All Users interface as seen here.

How to edit a user

After opening up the All users interface you can now proceed to edit a user that you'd like. This can be done by hovering over your chosen user and then proceeding to choose Edit as seen here.

How to Assign the user to a particular Role

After opening up the user's single profile page as seen here, we can begin to navigate to the Name section within their profile as seen here. Within this section, we can change a couple of fields but the important field is Role as seen here.

To choose a role, click the dropdown and then click on the role you'd like to choose as seen here. In most cases, you'll be choosing the Trade Customer or possibly the Agent role. In rare cases, you may choose the Administrator role.

How to Assign the user to a particular Membership

After opening up the user's single profile page as seen here, we can begin to navigate to the Memberships section within their profile as seen here, typically this is found at the bottom of the user's profile.

To proceed, choose Add a membership manually as seen here. Once this button is clicked you'll be taken to the Add New User Membership interface as seen here. Once on this interface, you're presented with some additional fields, please see below on which of these fields should be changed.

Plan

The Plan dropdown field as seen here is the most important field that needs to be configured. You can click on the dropdown and choose the plan that you require, if there are no Membership Plans available you'll need to create one during this guide.

Status

The Status field is set to Active by default and I recommend leaving it this way unless there is some special timing that makes it so that this current user will not have their Membership immediately, this is rare and as such please leave it to default.

Member Since

The Member Since field should be again left as default. This will use the current date and set this to the Member Since date. In rare scenarios, this option could be changed.

Expires

The Expires field should be left default as well during a generic setup, which translates to the field being blank. In rare scenarios, you may choose to enter a date on which you'd like to end the user's Membership.
