Introduction

Before Xero can be functional and working on your website, it is important that connor@auracreativemedia.co.uk is provided with access to your Xero account. This is required both for the setup of the Xero application, as well as for further help if any issues crop up.

It can typically take up to a few hours to set up based on basic functionality and we'd always invite you to try sending an order over to Xero once applicable.

Xero Settings

Once the initial functionality is there, we look to make sure that the Xero Settings are properly configured and as per default, no values are provided as seen here. The settings typically required are:
  • Invoice Prefix
  • Sales Account
  • Shipping Account
  • Fees Account
  • Payment Account
  • Rounding Account

In most cases we're able to get these values by visiting your Xero account, however, if needed we may need to reach out in rare cases. The majority of points relate to where certain costs are separated into.

Agent Setup

The following option is only applicable if your business is selling to Trade and you're using our Agent Perfection. You'll have the ability by using our custom-built plugins for the system to recognise the Agent during the creation of the order and the information will be passed through to Xero appropriately.

New Orders

Any new orders that you gain can now be sent over to Xero. This can be done by doing the following:

  • On the right-hand side of an order, there is a dropdown full of options. You'll need to switch it to the Send Invoice to Xero option.
  • Then choose the Arrow to the right of these options provided.
